What I Used To Create the Video.
As a grade 10 student, i had to work on a personal project. Part of my project was to create a video and i had to use a software that lets me take "printscreens" but in video mode. After researching a lot i found this: the Debut Video Capture Software.
This software came in handy when i was creating the video for this project. I did not have any problems with it because i got used to the way it works from experience with it.

Problems with outsourcing
I am now trying to get an outsource clip from my partner, but she hasnt replied back yet. I need a 30 second video from them about uploading and how we live with it. I did not ask for any specific types of video because i understand that they are under a lot of pressure and i did not want to add to any of that myself. I still need to work on finishing off my video but hopefully it will be up soon on the ning.

I am now creating my video on windows movie maker. I chose to use movie maker because I'm more familiar with it, and it's the program that I kno whow to use best. I was going to use imovie, but I decided not to because I wanted to use something I had already used before so that I could make sure it worked. I started by recording a soundclip of myself speaking, and put images related to uploading.
My next steps are:
1. finish recording the clips needed
2. include end slides of more information about the topic
3. edit video
4. finalise and add any needed information

I faced many problems in this project. For example, I couldn’t make wiki contributions because my wiki request wouldn’t be accepted for some reason. Because of this, I made all my contributions on Microsoft word and decided to add it onto the wiki when this problem was solved. this isn’t the best solution because it doesn’t completely solve the problem, it was the best option I had at the time, and at least I made the contributions. Though it did solve most of the problem, i still had to wait a long time to be able to submit my work on the wiki. Now that I have made the contributions, I want to focus back on my video and finish recording, end slides, and edit my video.

1. My wiki wont work and is very hard to use, so I made contributions on microsoft and decided to copy paste them onto the wikispace. Thankfully this worked.
2. I am finding it very hard to work with partners because we are all in different locations and communicating is hard. I tried to comment on my partners wall and send her an email but i did not get any reply
3. I am finding creating my video difficult because I dont know which scenes to make as movies and which to make as writing.
I wan to solve these problems by:
1. seeking help and fixing my wiki so that I can paste my contributions on and prove that I have been working and prove my knowledge of the subject.
2. I want to schedule a meeting with my partners to decide what my job and their job will be in order to make a successful video.
3. I want to improve my computer skills and follow my design storyboard more in order to make a better video that will serve its purpose.
